MEMORIAL
Designed in a collaborative team of Interior Designers & Graphic designers, this project served as my first real life client. This project was designed as a War against Terrorism memorial for Erie County Veterans Memorial Park. This project combined both the clients wants & needs with group brainstorming to make the design we have today. The prominent mountain structure honors Tora Bora, Afghanistan, a pivotal location in the War on Terrorism, and is crafted from stone authentically sourced from the region—connecting visitors directly to the conflict’s geography. The visualizations show how educational timelines and the 9/11 tribute integrate seamlessly into the design. At the heart of the memorial, a five-pointed star displays the insignia of all five armed forces branches, representing the unified sacrifice of American service members across all military services. This project challenged both teams, but strengthened my abilities such as teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
